Alright, it is fun having Christmas break and dreaming about things you could do if you were done with school. But today I was sent back to reality and back to school. I expected the worst since I was going to have a Geographie exam.
Surprisingly the day was better than that.
In Social Studies our presentation didn´t work so we will do it in a couple of weeks. In English I got an exam back, where I got 11 points (15 points is the best, 0 the worst). In comparison it is like a grade between A and B.
In Geography the exam was shitty. I don´t know why she tells us to learn all themes that we had and then she puts some exercises together which are totally different from the things you could study for.
Anyways, until I don´t get my grade for that exam, I don´t want to suggest anything. My feelings are mixed about it and I am not sure if this one is better than the last one.

After my usual classes I had lunch break and sports. It was kind of good getting exercise after a two week Christmas break and I always enjoy it, especially because I get in a good mood afterwards.

At home I was supposed to babysit, but the mother called and told me that her meeting was cancelled and I didn´t need to come. Therefore I went to my driving school for my last theory lesson. After I got there they told me it was cancelled and that I´d have to go next week. That totally sucks, I just wanna be done with that one lesson.

I am excited for different things this year and I can´t wait for them to come.

That is to be listed now...

First of all Cornelia, the Norwegian exchange student, is coming to Germany in two weeks and we were thinking about meeting up and hanging out for the weekend after. She is in Berlin for a field trip with her class.

Next I am going on a ski trip for ten days with my grade. I am really sure it´ll be a blast.

Volunteering for YFU (I think I told you bout it), I applied for being a tutor for a week on an orientation for future exchange students. I only have to wait now, if I am taken for one of them.

In May, we are going to Denmark like every year with family and tons of friends. During the day we stay at the beach and during the night we stay on the camping ground where we bbq. All together we are about 50 people I think.

In June, I planned on going to the music festival "Hurricane" that is popular in Germany and not too far away from my city. I have never been to a concert at all and this will be wonderful to watch as many bands as I want without paying a whole lot of money. Well it is not cheap, a little over a hundred Euros only for the ticket, but you would pay the same for two concert tickets.

In August I am going to go back to Alaska, especially Valdez, to visit family and friends. I really can´t wait and I am already excited. My dad is going to come with me and I will show him my beatiful second home. He will enjoy it but unfortunetaly we can only stay for two weeks. I already made a plan for activities to do and what people we have to visit.

Well I think this is quite a bit of travelling and to afford it, I have to work hard and a lot. Right now I work six hours a week and get 10 euros per hour. It really is a good deal. The bad thing about it is, that I don´t have time studying myself. But I´m sure I´ll manage it somehow.

Oh Gee, it got late again and I don´t want to have a hard time getting up tomorrow morning. So all I am saying now is "Goodnight" ;)

Yeah guys, happy new year of 2009! May it be better than last year...
Oh my god my New Years Eve party was crazy. I actually didn´t have my own party, I went to the one of my best friends boyfriend Jonas (nicknamed Jonez). We started at 9pm and we were eating racelette all together...at least the people that were appearing at a certain time. My apetite was not too big, but we started drinking sect already before eating. After dinner I started my vodka bitter lemon mix and I stuck to it. It was a hilarious night and finally we were more than fifteen people. At midnight we went out in the yard to cheer and to watch the fireworks. We all hugged each other to wish a happy new year.
At some point, I emptied the whole bottle of vodka and I didn´t feel like having that shit intus. So I asked my friend that was on his way anyways if he could stop by at my apartment where my sister was having her party.
That was a big mistake. First of all he got there with other people that my sister didn´t know and they didn´t want to let them in for that reason. Somehow they made it and got my drink.

The problem was, though, that I was drinking a beer meanwhile that I shouldn´t have done. It was a bad mixture and I kinda regret it. Cuz I got drunk and I offended people because I got mad for some reason. I hate it, I always let all my emotions out when I am drunk. At the recent time, I feel anger inside because of different reasons and I just let it out after drinking.

Anyways I went home more or less volunteerly and I was glad not to stay longer at the party. It was late enough for me, I think about 4am. But at least I got company by my friend who really proved how much of a friend he is.
My sister´s party was already over and they were just about to clean the mess. I had another emotional release and at this point I started crying. After sleeping over the whole story I don´t really know why I acted like I did.
One of my sisters friend stayed the night because he couldn´t get home.
Today I got up actually kind of early and helped cleaning. We were taking a break from rushing and watched the movie "21" which I really liked. For the rest of the day we were just hanging out and later on I continued reading my english book in which I have to read 50 pages until school starts. I also have to read another book that is German, but I really don´t have the desire to do it.
Alright it is too late again and I really should go to bed. Have a good night!

Alright, my Christmas went over as fast as it has never been. It seems like the time runs faster by the time you get older.

On Christmas Eve there was just my mom, Saskia (my sister), Thomas (Saskia´s boyfriend), Willi (mom´s boyfriend) and me. We ate dinner "racelette" and we got our presents. I got a cell phone from my mom, a chair from Saskia and Thomas and a book about Alaska from Willi. At 11.30pm we went to church for midnight service. It was kinda hard to stay awake since I didn´t get a lot of sleep the nights before. But it worked and I met some people I haven´t seen in years.

On the first day of Christmas (in Germany we have two of those), my mom´s family came over. We were 11 people eating cake at first and eating dinner later. I got a gift card for a clothing store (H&M), a lot of candy and food, and a lot of money.

On the second day of Christmas we visited with my dad´s family at my aunt´s and uncle´s house. My dad got me a headset, earphones, speakers and a notebook mouse. I told him I didn´t want big presents since we are already going to Alaska next year which is so spendy. Anyways, we ate lunch together which was really good but you got stuffed quickly. In the afternoon we had some cake, too. We played games and it was a fun day.

Oh my god I still don´t know what to do on New Year´s Eve. I could have celebrated with my sister and her friends but now it is too late cuz they are enough people. It would also be weird because they are only couples. So now I can either celebrate with Merle, my best friend. We´d probably go over to her boyfriend´s house since his parents are gone. Or I could go to a party with Antina who I got to know before I went to the US at a meeting with YFU. It´s hard to decide. Maybe I will not celebrate at all but that would be sad cuz I didn´t have a New Year´s Eve last year and I swore myself I would party so bad this time.

I actually wished everything turns out better.

Well I hope you all know how to celebrate and I am the only one who doesn´t. Have a happy new year!!!

Well I had a
blast
this past weekend with YFU. We stayed at a big house for the weekend and we had a lot of fun. I can´t really describe what I´ve been doing there, but at nights we socialized and Saturday we had a Christmas party.
I´ve only slept two hours the first night and three hours the second night so I am kinda tired now and I will go to bed.

here´s the video that i made out of pictures from the weekend:
